What is Gamechanger?

Gamechanger is a sport app created by Dick's Sporting Goods to host teem communication. It allowed for coaches to provide real time notifications to their families. The app can communication game and practice schedules. It also allows for live streaming of games so fans not able to attend the game can watch a live feed. The app is a tool recommend by the league. Games can be scored in Gamechanger, but scoring is not required until the end of the season.

What is GroupMe?

GroupMe is a free messaging app that our league uses to communicate behind the scenes with coaches and other volunteers. Coaches may choose to use this app for team communication.

What is the TeamSideline App?

The TeamSideline app will be use for scheduling and league communication. When allowing notifications on the app you will receive real time reports regarding closers, schedule changes and upcoming events. You can download the app from the AppStore or GooglePlay.

What is Tourney Machine?

Tourney Machine is an app hosted by Sports Engine. This app is used by leagues to post tournaments they are hosting. If you are attending a tournament with a team you can locate game play schedules and tournament brackets.

USA Softball?

USA Softball is their governing board to whom we report and operate under. These create the association bylaws and regulations we must use to operate softball in San Marcos. We are part of the North San Diego County District. What is Valor?

Valor is a competitive select program that allows girls in divisions 8U-14U to play at a more competitive level. All girls are welcome to try-out!   

What is the volunteer commitment for the season?

Each season families are committed to complete a minimum number of volunteer hours. They hours will be outlined in the registration process. Volunteer hours are per player. i.e. if the commitment is 2 hours and you have 2 players, a total of 4 hours will need to be completed. Opportunities will vary by season, but may included snack bar, field prep, and tournament prep.
